brake squeal

brake squeal

other than changing to a different brand of brake pad, does anyone have a idea of how to stop brake squeal? squeal is present either with brakes off or when brakes are applied. thanks peterpaul

Re: brake squeal

Clean the rotors with some brake clean and remove the pads and chamfer the edges. Should help with the noise.

Re: brake squeal

I actually just got of the phone from a call to my dealer asking about the rear disc squeal. In the past, I have replace the pads with a different material. The dealer said the MOCO is aware of the prob with the Brembo brakes and that a fix is coming, for now cleaning as Glider mentioned...

So far mine is only using the rear brake when i let off its quiet
