Squeak Squeak

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, But I have '93 FXDL and have this squeaking noise that sounds like it's coming from the frame or motor...hopefully not the rear mount. It is not the front end that is squeaking. I can't seem to make it make the noise by sitting on the bike and bouncing it. Only makes the noise when motor is running. Is there something that needs to be greased that I am not aware of? The service manual is of no help on this.

Re: Squeak Squeak

Check all exhaust hangers, brackets, and clamps. I have a squeak that shows up form time to time and it is always the exhaust.

Re: Squeak Squeak

+one to what Bodeen said...i have to "adjust" my exhaust at least once a year for placement and squeaks...i also have a baffle that squeaks from time to time. Its certianly a less expensive place to start lookin...
