Old tires - not a happy camper!

OK, so the tires came in and I carted the wheels over there to have them mounted and balanced. Front was great (2111 - I think) but the rear was right on the edge of my window (0411). But both acceptable.

The AVONs I am replacing are getting to their limit as far as I am concerned. Front has 13,800 miles and the rear has 7,710. Pix below are what they look like.

So now I have my new Pirelli Night Dragons loaded, and I just need to change out the bearings. That turned out to be a nightmare!! Check out that other thread on that little deal.

Aye those tyres are at the end of their life and bikes always feel better on new rubber
