Greetings all,

I'm trying to put together a package. I'm assuming most of you have heard about the common "Brembo" front brake swap being done lately? My bike is an '02 Road King. What I don't know right now is whether my stock front brake caliper bolts are exactly the same as the bolts that would fit the donor calipers. ( probably '08 and up ? ) Or do I order new stock ones? I'm not interested in chrome or stainless. But just noticing some aftermarket kits online lead me to believe that they are different. Just thought I'd throw this one out there instead of trying to cram my bolts thru.

P.S. I'm replacing the front master cylinder, lines, rotors and calipers.

There's different bolt kits listed for '00- 07 and '08 - later.

When ever using Chrome hardware I likerto chase the threads first, just to be sure there is no extra flash on the threads

As I finally got all my parts together ( from ebay ) I found out that one caliper had no seals. Long story short....Harley doesn't offer a rebuild kit ( '08 and up Touring ) for the calipers and hearing that Brembo doesn't either. Back and forth on websites led me to QTMI. phone 714-575-5000. I'm gonna call tomorrow and see if they can hook me up.
