Tubes

It's getting time to put new tires on my '04 Heritage. I've got two
questions if anyone has the time.
First, if I go with the Avon Venoms or the Metzler 880s, is there is
special tube needed for my rims? Talked with the dealer and was told
not all tubes would work with my rims ??
Second, the dealer wants $200.00 to put the tires on if he supplies
the tubes. That seemed way steep to me. Is it that far out of line ?
Thanks.
Unk

Re: Tubes

get a new dealer
any standard tube made for the bike will work with either the Venom or the Metzler, the tube is nothing special as long as its the right one.
$200 sounds a bit steep

Re: Tubes

Hobbit,
Thanks. I couldn't understand the cost or why there
was a question with the design of the tube. I'll take
your advice .
