Run flat tires?

Hello - How about any info on run flat tires for touring models. Do they even make such a beast? Seems like Police bikes (dept.) would have um if they did, but my friendly man in blue came by my shop today to chat and I asked if he ever heard of them and he said no. I carry CO2 flat kit in my bags, but was just wondering about it.(trying to take my mind off of the SERT thingy)

Re: Run flat tires?

The police bikes run them but they are only rated for one up, not a passenger.

Here's some info if you care to read about them

JP Cycles - Motorcycle exhausts, seats, mirrors, and more

Re: Run flat tires?

Thanks Glider, Good info there.--I probably brought up an old post(thread). Still learning this site.-I 'm wondering if anyone has shelled out for them and what they thought(didn't know they were available)-I don,t see many riders packing a spare on their rides!--POI-what does " bump" mean in certain post?

Re: Run flat tires?

"Bump" is used to bring the post back to the top of the forum.
