you would need to make sure you have clearance with the inside of the rear fender and the swing arm also need to check the belt clearance both hot and cold as the tire will expand, also will the new tire fit the width of the rim? the new 2008 Fat boy has a large rear as stock but it also has wider fender and wheel and a narrower belt.
