2002 front wheel hit a seam
hi,
I was riding home from work on Friday and hit a seam in the road (California Freeways SUCK now...) and bent the crap out of my front (19 inch, 16 spoke, silver) mag. Almost wrecked. Can any one help me? The stealer wants $300 for a new one (they're back ordered and they can't even order one) if he even had one... Thank you in advance for your time and effort, Nesta |

Re: 2002 front wheel hit a seam
Glad to hear you maintained some control and didn't crash.
As for a replacement wheel..try eBay and/or the Sportster.org swap section. A take-off will save you a bunch from what the dealer quoted. I spotted a couple OEM mags on eBay not all that long ago. Just make sure you get one with the sealed wheel bearings. |
