How many miles?

Approximately how many miles are you getting on a set of brake pads?......I've got approx. 11,000 miles on front and rear with still some pad left when I checked at 10,000 mile service . Just curious about different riders?

Re: How many miles?

It depends on your driving habits and type of driving but 10-15K miles on the heavier bikes isn't unheard of.

Re: How many miles?

I just did a 20000 service on a RK and his pads were still really good! Surprised me.

Re: How many miles?

Depends on how hard you ride. My wife & daughters get 12000-15000 on their Lowriders with all HD parts, I'm running Lyndall Racing Gold pads and Russel FullFloat discs on my Superglide and I've used 2 setts of front pads 1 rear in 8000 miles.

Re: How many miles?

Hey Bluesssman,
Did you check the soles of his boots to see if he had any left, WOW 20,000 miles on a set. Sounds like he was stopping like Fred Flintstone!!!
