Almost Bought A Street Rod Last Night

I've been considering buying a V-Rod as a project bike and almost bought a Street Rod last night.

Because we are going to take a lot of it apart and redo the bike, I was looking for a deal on a scratch and dent bike and found one on eBay. It was mostly cosmetic and had a Buy It Now price about $3,000 under market.

So I made an offer about $1,000 below his asking. He countered by dropping $300, I countered up another $100 and thought I might have it.

About an hour went by and he rejected my offer and sold it to someone else.

Oh well, still looking for the right deal.

That would be quite a contrast to the JDCA! Good luck on the project!

Just curious Buzz, starting with the V... what sort of project were you planning with this thing?

Where were you planning on taking it to?

Sounds like the owner got what they wanted... you'll find your scratch and dent soon enough!
