Is the rod broke or are the ends shot?
If the ends are shot go to a fastener store (I use Fastenal) and buy a couple of heim joints you won't have the problem again

I have seen alot of nice shift rods on ebay. I think you just have to know what length it is supposed to be. They are adjustable somewhat. You can get with flames and skulls even. Hope your better soon.

thanks for the concerns and suggestions guys. I will measure the rod and look for the new rod by size instead of my bike model.
