We Shire-folk have a bit of an altitude problem alright Hobbit. However, back to the topic - beautful V Rod Gary and yeah where are all the HD/Porsche lovers?

How big is the tank by the way?

I actually ride a vrod ,and the vrod can easly be set up for mid controls , with HD oem parts from a B or C model and the cost is a couple hundred bucks, I changed the foward control set up to mid control set up on my 08 DX not because of my height but because you can handle the power of the bike better with your feet under you when getting real aggressive in the twistys in the mountain roads . there is nothing like keeping up with Japs and Ducs,on roads like that ,when I do this they kinda dont believe a harley was keepen up, my son rides a XB and his friends ride gixers and R s and they luv when I ride with them ,they tell my son when I ride with them they always have the best rides ,and ask him how does he find all the great roads , I tell them you need to by a (grampa bike) thats what they call my street glide I tell them only a grampa bike can find the best roads to ride.but then again I think they are just saying that because I always pick up the lunch tab ,you know those young pups will say anything for free food.

LOL did some one say free food i like the rods but still have not managed to ride one due to the riding position i find the mids really uncomfortable as my knees are way to bent - either than or i am making excuses we had the night rods and street rods - i am going to see if i can get a go on the muscle the dealer has
