Its coming together well zood ,I don't know what the shipping would be,but if you gave me the blank size I could roll you one piece inner fenders complete with the sqare back on one side. This isn't a solicitation I'm not looking to charge you for it,I just think it would give you a much nicer product.

I appreciate your offer. And know that I have looked at that option. However,... the way these original inner wheel wells are formed. The body form determines what can be fitted in there. For me to install the type your offering. The body wouldn't allow for it to fit without cutting into the front.

I had already made the shapes required to fit within the inner structure. When it's all said and done inside there. It will look factory. I'm also planning on adding compartments in there as well.

Anyways,... thank you for the offer.

Re: Here's my Trike build

Still at it. Just managed to lengthen the mufflers by another 6.5 inches so they stick out past the bumper. Ill add pictures later. Been busy expanding my home here and it has taken me away from the build. But I'm now back at it. Placing a fiber glass body on the build isnt as easy as 123. Had to shim and figure out different spacer heights that I been fabricating so that I dont have a bunch of washers or shims on the trike. If all goes to plan. I should have it finished by the end of this month.

Re: Here's my Trike build

Here are some picture up-dates of the muffler extensions I managed to make out of the same type mufflers I had on hand.

I plan on making a panel that will fill the area between the bumper and the trike body. Just like the extended bumper look of the late 50's cars.

The 2 threaded blocks on the exhaust extensions are perfect for mounting the fill panel.

Since I live in SE NC. There's been a lot of things that I have to prepare around here to be ready for Hurricane season. I bought this run down farm 2 years ago. At about the same price as you laid out for your 09. Only difference is,... let's just say this place is like buying a basket case. So while this is a constant fixer upper. And while getting new gardens set up right so they don't wash away. Plus rebuilding the gutted 200 yr old single family house that was used as a mechanics shop for tractors and such. Along with the constant manufacturing of my V-Twin Heat Deflectors. March is the beginning of the busy season for that product and runs thru October. Anyways,... I am back at building the trike. Whats taking longer than I imagined is. The body I incorporated into the trike build. Is just a shell. I have to piece build the interior/ cargo area. But it has to be done right the first time. I hate trouble shooting anything I build on the side of the road. I am making progress on that and I will update the pictures soon. I just have so much on my plate right now. That I wished instead of over filling my plate. I should have used a bowl instead. Also. another reason for the trike build is that it allows me to figure out new products I can manufacture. That correct flaws or improve rider's comfort, since the introduction of the Tri-Glide is opening up new avenues of design and perfection.
Ok, enough of that! I'm workin on finishing the build. I need to ride, real bad.

Thank you for the update. I was just wondering if you fell off the end of the earth or something. Glad to here that you are okay.
