Great videos! Pictures/videos replace a thousand words and often $$$$$$$ in repairs from doing it wrong!

Thanks,

Tim

Re: How To Adjust Primary Chain Video

It works! Now heres my stupid question for today. Harley says my bike has a self adjusting primary and I havent checked it in its 23000 mile life.Just change the oil and away I go ,Should I be checking it manually and adjusting like the video shows?

Re: How To Adjust Primary Chain Video

No adjustment on the auto units for service. Being a new design in 07, it would be advisable to check the shoe wear when the miles add up some more just for safety sake.

Check this out Steve.

Re: How To Adjust Primary Chain Video

Is a Sportster that easy, or do I need to take the primary cover off.If so I can't get the drain plug out anyway. It is making a chattering nose crusing at around 25-30 mph in town.

Gluider thanks for all your help my brother thought he was having a problem with the tension of his primary chain. watched the very imformative video. Allot of great advice.I on the other hand was replacing the rear brakes on my king. Some of the people i talked to told me to remove the rear tire others said i didnt need to.After taking your advice on this matter i was able to do it without removing antything but the pads.
