Re: Six Speed Transmissions

Good read, but one error. When giving an overview, the author states that a 1:1 transmission means that for every revolution the engine make, the rear wheel make one. Actually, the ratio refers to input and output of the transmission. The primary and final drive ratios are covered later in the article and would prevent 1:1 refering to engine:rearwheel.

Re: Six Speed Transmissions

I was going to send this to my buddy, but that would just confuse the argument more. He is set on the fact that my six speed isn't as good as an overdrive. I quit trying to explain it.
