Unhappy this mite be another stupid question??
hi,i am reading threads on how to remove the clutch hub in order to take the inner primary off and its all making sence except for one little bit...even with the chain locking tool in place the clutch still spins when i try to take the nut off?whats doing there?any help would go down just fine.thanks

i thought i read somewhere that it should be in 5th before you start the job so i done that and tried 4th,3rd,2nd,1st

The clutch nut is a left handed thread, hope you are turning it in the clockwise direction to loosen it.
