primary cover question
I have to replace the O ring for my clutch cable on a 1986-1990 1200 Sportster motor. I have tried to get the primary cover off but it wont slide off. I have removed everything on the cover that I can see, but am wondering if I am missing a step? It will not slide off. Can anyone offer advice?

Looks like you have to remove all that clutch adjustment cover ,screws & nut to get the cover off...I have a 86 manual that is pretty much the same...I tried to get you the page, but I am not that computer savy...sorry...
