impact tools on compensating sprockets...?
Glider...a while back in a thread about clutchs and compensating sprockets you wrote Do not use impact tools...? what is the reason and ramifications...?

The shock of the tool can dislodge the magnets in the stator
.OK if you are replacing it but for a new one, not a good practice.

Also the later crankshafts are not keyed shafts and you can bang the crank out of true.The '06 and later Dyna and '07 and later everything else must be loosened by hand tools.
