Re: Hard shift into first

Before I spend any more I'm taking it in I could guess all day long I'm not familiar with the trans need it running asap it is my daly rider to work. My daly comute is 80 miles for work I will have to ride the wifes sporty and I did that before and me and the sporty didn't hold up well under that stress, both getting to old i guess.

Re: Hard shift into first

Well I tore off the top of the trany and found it not pushing the shifter cam far enough to engage it into 1st so low and behold I adjusted the shifter linkage tighter about 6 turns toss it back on and bamm it goes into first. Put it all back together then tested it all is well! The redline I put in the tranny is a bit noiser going into gear than it was though I will ride it a few days and see how it sounds. Thanks for all the help.
