tranny or primary noise 03flstfi
I may have overtighten my chain and or drive belt. I went through a couple of tensioner shoes. I get a low pitched growl when I glide to a stop motor off clutch in. I also hear a low pitched growl when in nuetral, engine running, clutch out no sound sometimes with clutch in. I replaced the inner primary bearing still same sounds. I think I feel a minor vibration in 1st and 2 second and when I hear the low pitch growl. You think it might be tranny bearings. Someone looked at the clutch bearing in the shell and they thought it was ok. Would appreciate any help.
