I also went out yesterday on my favorite hour and a half loop and came home a totally new man! Had the liner in my leather jacket and wore the winter gloves but no chaps, scarf, or any other cold weather gear since it was around 50 degrees.
Hey Mavagrand, what part of Atlanta will you be visiting and when?

Hey SledDog ... you a native Floridian? Pull all them rude snowbirds out of FL and the state would cry for a bailout.
 It's either we see'm all in the ditches up here, or makin' L turns from the R lane down there ... too bad once you reach 60, and then every 3 yrs after that, a person doesn't have to take a sanctioned real roadtest (every other exam during winter months).  Oh well ... back to snow shovelin'. Enjoy your warm ride!

Killing herself... No one witnessed the accident. Police think she hit the gas instead of the brake... Miles on the Challenger, 150!! It was totaled. At least she didn't hit a motorcyclist.

I've been to FL a few times, and plan to keep my visits to a minimum. My in-laws are in Tampa, and are more a part of your problem. The driving I saw while down there! Well, let's just say I'll take my chances riding in the snow, it seems safer than being followed by the q-tips down there that can't see a full size Dodge Ram, let alone my bike. Enjoy your winter, I'll complain about the cold, but until my ultimate destination freezes over, I'll not move to FL!!
