Re: why 'o' WHY 'O' WHY

Welcome to the dark side. My wife was a BIG part of the decision to go with the Ultra. She pointed and said I like that one, I wasn't gonna say no. I am very happy with it, wouldnt trade for anything. But I still think the Heritage Softail is one of the best looking bikes on the road. Now I just gotta talk her into a second bike. Come to think of it I havent seen a Harley I don't like.

At my house, if the wife wants it, we usually end up buying it. So what color did you get?

i will be the proud owner of a 2009 Dark Blue Pearl FLHTCU abs with reach seat (short legs), pillion handles and the jiffy stand extension.
even the 05 was like riding an arm chair on wheelsm even the wife fell asleep she has not done that for a long time and never on the Heritage

I just had the talk with a dealer yesterday, not one I buy from but just stopped in to pick up something He was tell me if I just rode the 09 I would love it. I told him I beleave you I have never in my life ridden a Hd I did not think was the greast think there was.
What you need is about 2 or 3000 miles on it to get over the new hipe and get down to what you really think
Hobbit you alreadt know you can't compare a 05 to a new onew not even to an 07
Get the 09 make wife comfortable and you will both be happy
