Question EITMS on ECM on 08 Ultra

After reading the Sept issue of American Iron I found out that all 08's after July had capability to activate EITMS. I asked the dealer to activate it. How do I know if it's working. I turned my throttle back for about 5 seconds, no diference in sound or RPM. Is there a special technique? Haven't seen anything anywhere else on this feature. Don't need to worry about it foe a while cause riding season is almost over up here.

Roll the throttle back and hold for 3 - 5 seconds. Keep watching the face of your speedometer and you should see the icon for your cruise control flash. If it flashes red then the system is off, if it flashes green it is on. you will know when the system is active, it produces as unusual odor from the engine and the idle cadence changes.
