Detachable TourPak for an '07 FLHTC

Hey guys...

Has anyone figured out a way to ''detach'' the TourPak for the '07 Ultra Cl., yet? Been awhile since I've talked to anyone about it. Didn't have much luck.
Just seems like there has to be a way to do a detach if one wants to. My wife doesn't ride with me all that much so I'd really lke to take it off once in a while. Fool, that I am, I didn't realize it was an undetachable model that I bought.
Any help here sure would be appreciated.

Happy Trails,

Ross

Just coil wires under seat works fine.

The detachable tour-pak kit for the 07s is HD# 53303-07 263.00 from Chicago HD online.
Took only a couple of hours to remove and install. The kit has absolutely everything necessary for the install.
Here's a link to a step by step walk thru: http://linuxworx.org/HD/UltraDetach3.htm
And here's a pic of my 07FLHTC with the kit installed.

gs34, that’s a sharp seat you’re sporting... I either have this kit or something very similar. Mine was installed at the dealership. They had put this kit along with a back rest different seat windshield etc... Just for the heck of it. Didn't really know what I was getting at the time. But I do now... It's great... Tomorrow if I want to go with the backrest I can have it changed out in less than a minute…
