Cycle World Magazine Touring Comparo
You guys see the Octoer issue of Cycle World? they did a comparo of 8 touring bikes. Oddly enough the GW wasn't included. (They compared various models of the "old school" variety). It makes for an interesting read. The scoots were the new Triumph Rocket II (emphasis on Rocket) HD Road King (08 Model before the new design) Honda VTX 1800, Moto Guzzi, Yamaha Roadstar, Suzuki Blvd 109RT, Victory King Pin and a Vulcan 2000. I enjoyed reading the article...by the way the winner was the Triumph ( that thing is a rocket)..followed by the HD Road King, then the Moto Guzzi California (Guzzi took a hit becuase, of all things, poor dealer support) Anyway, it's a good read and proof positive Harley built the best when they built their touring lines.
