I am looking at a 2009 and a 2010 streetglide.They both have less than 1000 miles on them and are bone stock.They are priced within a thousand dollars of each other.Which would be the best choice of these 2 bikes other than the obvious that one is newer than the other.Thanks in advance.

Are they the same color? If not, does that have you leaning one way or the other.

I have an 08 so I haven't exactly kept up on the model year changes. I'm pretty sure they have the identical frames and engines. Wasn't 2010 the year they tried the 2 into 1 exhaust? Did 2010 models have the cats in the headers?

Someone will jump in shortly with more definitive input!

Yeah, the 2010 has the 2 into 1 exhaust with the two O2 sensors just in front of the cat.

Not too many diferences here. 2009 has 2-1 pipe with catalyst and older 18mm, 2 wire O2 sensors. 2010 has 2-1-2 exhaust with catalyst ans new 12mm 4 wire heated O2 sensors. Other than that frames, powertrains are identical.

2010 has helicaal cut 5th gear,no tail-lite on the fender,18"front wheel,09 has a 17" front wheel.also the cat is in the header pipe on the 2010,it has a 2into 1 on the 2010.

i just bought a 09 streetglide because i like a pipe on each side.4200 miles.$19,000 out the door.no regrets..

I appreciate everyones time and comments.Both bikes are my color,vivid black.
The dealer was asking 18,999.00 for the 09 and 18,500.00 for the 2010.
This was the main reason i asked the question on this forum.The 09 has 978 miles on it and is bone stock and the 2010 has 13 miles on it and they are obviously asking more for the 09.
Only option on each is cruise control. Thanks again

That doesn't make much sense - the 09 has more miles, less remaining warranty, and they want $499 more for it?
