Really depends on your friend. If he is just an oil change guy, he probably will be fine with a manual that is close. If he is a guy who digs deep into problems, especially electrical, I would not use it. For the "most part" the manuals are probably interchangeable but how would you know for sure unless your proof read each one for changes. Sometimes there are small very important changes, sometimes not.
It's just me, but I would have to have the exact model year manual because of wiring harness colors and possible wiring changes. |
