Question more power

I have a 2001 road king 95 kit se heads woods w9fg cams throttle body has been redone to 48, hp is 107 tq. 113 at about 5,000. I was told if I went to a munk. carb. I would get alot more power and alot more tq. Does anybody no if this is true.........

what do they mean a lot more power and tq my 103 is not even on those figures 90hp and 115/120ft/lbs - i know there is more in there but getting it out is hard

So what you are saying is the numbers that I have are pretty good,I still would like to get more tq. but at a lower rpm.

what carb are you running at the mo i assume the stock CV rejetted which is more than man as the figures show, yes the Mik is a good carb and being slide not cv will give more snap but wont affect TQ, to do that you need to change cam profile to move it up and down the rpm range.
Me if i had a 95 or even a 103 dropping those figures i would leave well alone and ride the death out of it

When you re-jet, You might also want to consider the Dyno Thunder Slide Kit. It provides a lighter slide and Titanium Needle so the gate'll open faster and get ya on the high speed circuit quicker.

Some problems with running as well as poor MPG are related to the thunder slide kit. If you jet properly and add 2-#4 washers under the needle, it will run very well and cost is a lot lower too.
