![]() I can tell you first hand that the '09 can be pushed significantly harder through corners without the 'hinge' effect. I haven't had the wobble on my '09, but I haven't had it over ~110.

I have never found the wobble on my 07 ( I am not saying others have not found it they have). I though I did then I ran through that same curve many times till I found the line that cause what I though was the wobble . It was the cement I could hit the line or avoid it so it was not the bike. I wonder some times if it is just me put I have felt that if I push my 07 very hard coming out of the curve and I do mean harder than anyone should ever ride on a public road and harder than bike was built to ride it seems o be light in the front end. In the year 2030 we will see a thread pop up on the bagger wobble I think.

Re: Touring Bike Wobble
Speaking about pushing a bike to it's limits, just remember Smitty rides in snow...so maybe he pushes the riding skills to the limit just for fun and a certain rider 'cross the pond who also does both (riding to the limit that is).

Re: Touring Bike Wobble
Well this is 2009 and we still here how every HD leaks oil.
I have not had a drop on the garage floor in many years. Look at the issue with bearing in first 6 speeds long sense taken care of but rumor still out there that ever 6 speed needs new bearing every 15,000 miles. And the only hope you have is to buy a Baker and change transmisson. Cam tensioner chains some how the issue with an older design that was faulty comes up and is attached to the new TC engines. It seems that with a HD if bubbda sticks a valve through a piston because it was built Wrong and run hard the next day every HD ever built has faulty valves. If Bubbas cousin put an over size tire on his bike then tries to rider it like a road racer after 5 beers then all HD have a handeling problem. When the knot head with the new sporty is doing so many burn outs he goes through 3 rear tires in 1000 miles and has a problem with warranty claim some how HD does not honor warranty agin never had an issue with warranty, in fact dealer went out of their way to take care of issues. I ride many miles on my HD's and so do a lot of people I know amazing we never seem to have all of the issue with our bikes. 40,000 on the 07 now I have not crash due to the faulty designed of the bike. The poorly designed and fauty jiffy stand has not failed yet. The so called junk seat still rides very well and looks new on RG the FB is showing a little age in the leather. It has not melted down, blown up or any such thing. The older EVO still kicking at 14 years and 50,000 miles. Just had someone ask me the other day how many time my 07 RG has been rebuilt with that many miles on it. I told him 3.

Re: Touring Bike Wobble
Come we all know Bubba he is the guy that know everything about every Hd ever built or to be built.
He quit the school after the first week because we was wasting his time there they did not know anything anyway. He has the Hd shop down the road and is the cause for much of the Bad rep Hd gets. To be fair there are some good INDYs out there. I do know the location of some. They are in many cases owned buy People that use to have dealerships and did not want to go bigger when the change came. They are Techs that earned the right to be called a tech by getting the training and paying the dues by working for or under someone that had both training and real world experience for some time.

Re: Touring Bike Wobble
Part of the problem is shops whether HD or Indy see all the problems and by the very work they do gives the warped impression "--they all do it" if they see more than one with the same problem instead of taking into account the thousands of riders with similar bikes who don't. While experience will show some overall trends, the fact still remains that there are statistically many 1,000's of satified riders for every single point of failure with a disatisfied user.

Re: Touring Bike Wobble
I have had the wobble with my 99 RKC, but I have found that if I make sure the rear shocks are set high enough, I have progressive coil over shocks on the rear, then I don't seam to feel the wobble, when I had the air shocks on the bike same thing, if I let the air pressure get low would feel the wobble, but I have been thinking of reinstalling the air shocks just to see if I can get a better ride, not sure if I gave them a chance before.
