Re: Hauling ultra in a truck?

A friend and I both run our own buisness"es and sometimes need to be back at a specific time so cant chance the weather on those trips so we bought a enclosed trailer. we put e-track down both sides and a row down the middle put in two condors then found the same style of chock at harbor freight for about 1/3 the cost so put in the second pair. we use the ratchet tiedowns and put one on each corner, it works great! have hauled a pair of rdkings all over the country in the last 2 yrs with no problems. when you ratcheting them down you will be able to tell when its enough. Don"t over do it though. good luck and be safe!

Re: Hauling ultra in a truck?

NEVER use the handle bars!

just take your hand, hold the bars while sitting on the bike, and push

on one side. i can move my stock bars just about an inch or more doing this.

that is tubing, no matter how you look at it, that is a piece of tubing. unless

you have a pair of chubby type bars, a bar within a bar, i would never trust

stock.

i still have the stock bars cuz im too lazy to wash and polish the bike,

let alone put on new bars. (okay, im not that lazy, just a very very busy person)

(okay, i might be lazy)
