Crank Sensor

What does the crank sensor do and exactly where is it located on a Road King??
I know it is close to the oil filter and care must be taken not damage it because it is very expensive. I haven't actually looked for it yet and will do so shortly.

Just wanted more info in it!

Thanks,
Bob

Re: Crank Sensor

Yep, I think I located it. It is a little cylinder shaped plastic piece about 3/4" in diameter and about an inch tall!

Thanks,

Bob
