Oh BTW... I will be selling my 08 Black Pearl Street Glide.
Just ride one for a few miles. You won't want to get off of it! Besides, you can never have enough lights.

Yeah should have done that before I got the SG.

I've just joined the forum, but like you I also Canadian , and I ride a 2008 Ultra. I put on about 10,000 miles a year or more and find it very comfortable, and mine is stock with ABS brakes (get this item) except for a little Bling. If anything, go for the adjustable backrest. I also had the security system installed with the siren. Good for piece of mind!
Enjoy.

Ten grand is easy to do in options.I may be close.Sometime your gonna want a new bike and that money is pretty much gone unless you can sell it piece by piece and return the bike to stock.

People look for stock bike when buying used.

Re: Considering Ultra Classic - Suggestions?

recently bought an ultra classic

quickly realized i did not need the touring kit all the time.

also realize that the ultra seat wasn't the seat for me.

pulled the trunk off, lower the bike, change the seat to a road glide seat, and like many...now have a streetglide looking bike.

added the IDS system and the ride improved.

looking at the stage II kit.

also looking at a procharger kit.

have a small laundry list of other add ons.
