tank removal
I have a 97 road king. I want to remove the tank to do the intake gaskets.
My old bile was easy, back off the worm clamps and use thumbs to stop the gas. I know I need to release the fuel injector pressure but the fuel line disconnects are baffling me. |

It's like an air hose disconnect, just depress the outer shell and the inner comes out.

Mate for about 5 bucks (here in Oz, probably cheaper in the US) get yerself an adjustable hose clamp. Saves the thumbs and fuel spillage.
