S&S Tear drop

I really like the looks of the S&S tear drop. I see they offer one for an '09 Road King, but was wondering how it compared with other aftermarket air cleaners, or if they're all about the same. I'm not a big fan of the Screamin Eagle one. The heavy breather I think it's called. Thanks in advance.

Re: S&S Tear drop

My bike is not an 09 bagger, but I have a Tear Drop S&S style a/c and really like it. I installed a Spectre Air Cleaner wire mesh hi performance type element P/N 4806 that is 6 3/8" diameter by 2 1/2" ($8.95) and flows just fine. There is about 3/8" gap exposed under the perimeter of the chrome cover that allows you to visually inspect the element and flows additional air. The OEM one was 2" and totally covered the gas and oil soaked old element when I bought the bike, so I though this would be a good method to kill two birds with one stone.
