New Handle Bars For 09 Ultra

I want to get different bar on a 09 ultra, just a little more rise and pull back. Just enough that I don't have to change the cables or wires.

Jerry, you will at least have to change the brake line, it is rigid from the master cylinder to the splitter under the lower tripple tree and my best guess is that you will have to get a longer clutch cable also.
Not sure about the electronic throttle though.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Re: New Handle Bars For 09 Ultra

I had heritage softtail classic handlebars on my 07 RK and didn't have to change anything. They were just right. Would they work on an 09 Ultra?

No, these won't fit a bike with a batwing. The base of the handlebar needs to be wider than most other models to exit the bottom of the fairing.

Have you checked these out?

Khrome Werks

Just a few.

There are quite a few manufactures making compatible bars now. You might try running down to your supermarket and picking up a magazine to scan the ads for handlebars, too. Hot Bike Baggers usually has plenty of ads.
