I have a 2007 FLSTSC (UK). I just love the look of it, including the stock dual exhausts. So, oddly enough, I have kept the stock set up and now the (Edit) active exhaust valve is sticking in the closed position. So, after investigation (how did we survive before Google?) I have just ordered a Zodiac trick box (part no. 702020) so I can set the valve to be permanently open. I have a couple of questions please:
Has anyone fitted one themselves, and were there any problems/gotchas?
Where did you fit the switch, box, etc?
Also, I have spoken to a couple of aftermarket tuners/bike builders and they tell me it is no problem to leave the valve open - it has no effect on fuelling etc. Is this right?
