CalRider...looks like you had a great time. How many days did it take and did you primarily camp out/KOA or motor inn/hotel it along the way?

Not sure where I'm headed this year, but it will be somewhere.
It took us about 9 days. We camped out three of those days. I'd say mixing camping with hotels is the best way to go. Besides, would it be as much fun if you didn't get to carry your sleeping bag on your bike?

Great pics I had the pleasure of riding through there 2008. Loved it I need to go back and see Beartooth pass.

We'll be in the Park second week of July. Got the whole loop mapped out and reservations made yesterday. Stops are Orofino, Polson, Whitefish (looking forward to that day. making the loop from Kalispell to Libby to Eureka to Whitefish). Then over Glacier to St Mary, then family in Roundup, then 4 nighst in the Blackhills, then Sheridan, Cody, Idaho Falls, Boise, John Day - then home. Looks like about 3,000.
