I have an 09 Electra glide Classic, which does not come with the headset connection. The Ultra does, but the classic doesn't.
Of course I could buy one and have it installed for lots of $ at the dealer, but I don't want to do that, not only because of the cost, but also because I don't want all of the features like the mike and 2 way communication.
The only thing I'm looking for is to be able to plug in earbuds/headphone so I can listen to the radio.
So what needs to be done is to wire up a 3.5mm connector somehow, that I can plug the headphones into.
Someone said that I could possibly wire the connection directly to each speaker (that seems to make sense, but after thinking about it, the power/watts that go to the speaker would most likely be to much for the headphones) so I'm not sure that would work.
So does anyone have a workaround for this ?
