wiring help needed

I am changing handlebars on 09 FXDL and need to extend wiring. I have the Namz extension kit but am not clear on where exactly to make the splice. Is it made at the switches (putting the splice inside the bars) or at a connector in the harness (requiring removal of tank). Wiring disapears inside of frame at the neck..comes out "who knows where".lol. Tried searching this but came up empty. Your help greatly appreciated

I just took a peek at their website, and under instructions, it says "coming soon". The wires look like they have connectors at each end, so they may go directly to the switches. I think it's worth a call to find out the recommended way to use it. From the pics I see, all the wires are the same length, and shrink tube is supplied. That will make a sizeable "lump" if all splices are in the same place.
