Wiring for windshield mounted stereo.

Quick question, I just installed a Memphis Shades fairing on my Heritage & am thinking of adding the HD or Hogtunes windshield mounted stereo. I am wondering if I could run the wiring under the tank console & tank panel instead of under the tank. Would be a lot easier install.
Any thoughts on this???

Question regarding the fairing. Do those fairings come with pre cut holes for the speakers and cd player? And are they also quick-detach just like the windshields? Thanks

They are quick detach with a trigger lock system. There are no mounts for stereo or speakers as they are open, not closed on the back, like a regular fairing.
