As a leather carver in past years, I often toyed with the idea a getting my tools back out and makind some of my own leather goodies for my bike. Your project is very inspiring! Thank you for sharing the FULL story.. from cocept to finished product! You were truly thinking 'outside the box' and should be very proud of your work. Be aware though... with this comes some pitfalls. Your departures from runs, rallies, even shopping malls will be hampered by people looking, taking photoes and asking questions. You'll have to budget your time differently once that seat gets into the public eye!
