15 miles each way should not be a problem for the engine, tho as Glider said you may want to change your oil and check it more frequent for milky look, this would be a sign of moisture, that can be a bad thing, Cover your self up stay warm and watch out for black ice and wet leafs:s

Got to agree with Glider, check your temp guage. If your bike is running well I can see no way the temp would be that low, even if it's contaminated with moisture. Do the boiling water test to verify.
