Windshield bushing inspection

Doing 30K service, calls for inspection of windshield bushing. Can not find anything in the service manual or using the search feature on the forum.

What am I inspecting for? How is it done.

If you have pass-thru hardware with protective bushings/washers, it is always a good idea to do a visual inspection to be sure, checking their condition. A loose or overtightened fastener can induce damage or cracking. Sometimes they can be obscured by the accessories we add, if out of sight out of mind possibility exists.
