wind buffeting

The fork mounted wind deflectors worked as I hoped they would. Almost eliminated the updraft that would buzz the neck collar of my tshirt. With my knees tucked in tight against the tank, I almost have a true void area behind the fairing. Will come in handy when riding in the rain. With my knees out, I get a good updraft of air to keep me cool so this was a good purchase and a step forward.

I get this buffeting and after trying to decide where the air is coming from- it seems to be coming from in front of bike and up and around the tank...

I purchased a Front Fork Air Baffle-58520-79TC Part Number 58520-79TC because I read someone say they could get it to fit on a Softail. however I cannot find ANY way for it to fit - as it was designed.

So I am back to square one- looks like I may have to try the FANGS.

You will get used to it, I just accept it as part of the ride, doesn't bother me very much any more.:D

I have the fairing wind deflectors, fork deflectors and that dish like deflector under triple trees and those seem to help cut down buffeting alot.
