Wide Glide Front end

    I have an 07 FXST. is the front end considered a wide glide type front end?

    I believe they are similar but I am pretty sure the fork tubes are a bigger diameter on the Wide Glide. The WG also has more rake but I believe it is in the frame but could be wrong on that.

    i got the same model bike. Just what is the difference between a "Wide Glide" and a "Narrow Glide" ??

    The width between the forks the wide glide front end allows for fitting a wide front wheel
    easiest way to tell is to look at the front fender if the mount arms are splayed out rather than straight down you will have a wide glide front end at one point it was only the wide glide and softail custom that came with a wide glide front end
    if the front fender and wheel from an fl fits then it is a wide glide front end

    Wide glide tubes are 49 mm don't know about yours

    49mm on the newer tubes and 41mm on the older ones.
