Why did my exhaust tone change?

The girlfriend gave me the HD garage door opener, and not wanting to mess with the wiring harness, I took my 08 Heritage Classic to the dealer to install. When I got the bike back the exhaust was noticably louder and the tone changed from the throaty sound to a slightly sharper tone. The girlfriend noticed it too. I can't imagine how the two could be related, but nothing else changed. It runs OK. Anybody have any idea what happened?

Don't know how adding the door opener would change the exhaust sound. Did you check to see if somehow your baffles were taken out and not replaced?

Does it have some kind of a fuel remap? Could taking power off reset the fuel controller?

What kind of tuner do you have on the bike e.g. Power Commander, Screamin Eagle.

I dont know but next time somebody wants to change the sound of their bike. I'm going to suggest a garage door opener!
