Whinning with old lady aboard!

Hey everyone, love this site. I have a whine in 5th gear. don't notice it as much riding alone, but when riding two up I really hear it, any help would be appreicated

Two things you can do to lessen or eliminate it on the 07 bikes. Use a good quality gear oil and the second is to install the IDS system.I did both and there is a 99.9% improvement. I can't hear the fifth gear whine any more and the clattering is completely gone in 5th and 6th gears.
