I have a 2008 Ultra classic and there is a whining noise in 5th gear. The only problem is that the whining noise appears to be getting worse. Any suggestions?
I have read old posts about this problem but no one mentioned about it getting worse.....
Used to have the same 5th gear whine on my 07. It got more noticeable with mileage till I swapped it in (at 13K). A good gear lube in the tranny helps. (not 20w-50 motor oil the MoCo recommends ... That will make it sing like a canary.)
