I have an 06 sporster my clutch whines kind of loud when I decelerate I never noticed it before is there andjustment or some thing to quiet it down ?
Or mabey my clutch cable too tight?

More than likely it's the primary chain making the noise.

I have an 05 xl1200 and mine has done that since day 1. I was just assuming( I know) that it was possibly the way the gears were cut. I just live with it

Yes, my Sporty does whine a bit also, but is less when the lube was changed to Spectrol and primary chain adjusted. Can't say "--they all do it, but certainly many do..."
