Which fuel is better for storage

We don't ride much during Nov. to Feb. due to the high deer population and heavy movement during the rut, not to mention I like to hunt. My question is, would it be better to put 87 octane non ethanol in the tanks, or 93 octane with ethanol? We always use 93 w/ethanol during the rest of the year when we go through fuel regularly. Is there an additive that is good to add to the ethanol fuel? Seems like I heard about something a marine grade stabilizer.....

I would use the fuel you normally use and add some sta-bil to the tank. This way after the lay up and the octane dissipates a bit, you still have a decent octane fuel to run out. Fill it to the top with sta-bil added and run it a few minutes to get it through the system. You mat want to change the oil at this time too as well as the filter. Acids left in the oil can damage bearings and other parts.
